Let them know if your request is urgent, so they can prioritise it.
If it will take longer than 20 working days to complete your request, under the Privacy Act they must tell you why and how much longer it will take them.
They can provide you with a copy of your records in any format you choose. For example, you could ask to receive them:

They may redact (remove or hide) information from your records if it is required by the Privacy Act. Learn more about redactions.
It might be helpful to have support around you while you learn what it in your records. If Presbyterian Support Southland thinks the records might be upsetting to you, they can offer you support or you can ask them for support.
