25/11/1971: I am writing to tell you that our Board [Presbyterian Social Services Association Inc] has decided to make an exchange of buildings at 20 Morton Street, Berhampore so that our present Children's Home will be occupied next year by 34 Maori girls and the present Girls' Hostel "Arasaig", will be used as our Children's Home.
From Presbyterian Support Central: After the Berhampore Children's Home closed in 1984, it appears that the building was leased out and used as a hostel for young Māori women, however there are limited details on this.
