Any remaining records of the Children’s Homes and foster care operations were likely destroyed or lost when the Head Office of the organisation relocated within Christchurch in 1990 from Hereford Street to Bealey Avenue and again when forced to relocate after the Christchurch earthquakes due to property damage that required the building on the current site to be demolished and rebuilt. Holly House/Kinect was a home for teenage mothers and their babies. Transitioned from Holly Road Children's Home and operated from 1991 to 2018 with a name change in 2016 to Kinect.
The home was originally located at 88 Holly Road, Merivale, Christchurch and moved in 2008 to Crosby Street, Mairehau, Christchurch.
Records and data for Holly House, are available from 1993 onwards with a gap in 2004, and data for 2017 and 2018 but no detailed files.
The organisation has a History Book titled "A Sense of Community" by Vivienne Allen which details 100 years of Presbyterian Support in the Upper South Island. Hard copy only stored at Presbyterian Support Upper South Island Head Office, Te Korowai, 44 Bealey Avenue, Christchurch 8013.
