Presbyterian Support Upper South Island does not hold any records due to the organisational policy at the time (dispose records after 10 years). Any remaining records of the Children’s Homes and foster care operations were likely destroyed or lost when the Head Office of the organisation relocated within Christchurch in 1990 from Hereford Street to Bealey Avenue and again when forced to relocate after the Christchurch earthquakes due to property damage that required the building on the current site to be demolished and rebuilt. Some historical records may be held at Presbyterian Research Centre (Archives): Address: Knox College, Arden Street, Opoho, Dunedin 9010, New Zealand Telephone: 0064 3 473 0777 Email: pcanzarchives@prcknox.org.nz Website: https://www.presbyterian.org.nz/archives/
