Note about opening dates:
Different sources suggest different potential opening dates for Roxburgh Children's Health Camp. There is an Archives NZ record about the camp that is dated from 1938 suggesting it was opened around that year. Information from the Ministry of Education indicates the health camp school was running by 1941. There is an ODT article that suggests the camp was opened in 1946 but it seems unlikely that it was opened that late.
