Originally located on Vermont Street.
Established 1913 as a boys' school with a residence for the brothers.
In 1917, classrooms for female students were added, the girls being taught by the Sisters of Mercy.
During the influenza epidemic (before the end of WWI), both schools were taken over by the Health Department to accommodate influenza patients. Boarders were sent home so the Sisters could nurse the sick.
The Marist Brothers withdrew from the school in 1995 or 1996.
