The school and boarding school were managed by the Sisters of Mercy. Coolock -weekly boarders 1980-1987, in 1987 became full boarding. A review of Coolock in 1995 led to appointment of an Exec Manager of Coolock, in 1996, by the Sisters of Mercy to oversee Coolock and report to the Board of Directors of St Mary's College. Lay staff in boarding school from 1987. Boarding School closed 2005.
