ATWC does not hold any records prior to 2000. In most cases, there are no case records (e.g. from children's homes, St Mary's home, Hospital or adoption records) but usually records from an admission book, baptism or similar. The records are usually handwritten and often part of a register which requires information about others to be redacted. Any adoption records are held by Oranga Tamariki.
