Signed a contract with DSW to be a third-party provider in June 1991. In October 1991 DSW had concerns about their performance including poor record keeping. Children were referred to the Academy by a variety of sources, including whānau, NZ Police and the DSW. Locations: Initially at Hillary College, then moved to Ngati Otara marae. In August 1988, moved to a former nursery in Dawson Road, Otara.
