State control. Operational period: Princess of Wales Children's Health Camp 1983-c.2010 Te Kura Hauora, the school operating adjacent to the Princess of Wales Health Camp (Health Camp School) operated 1983-2001. The Camp then contracted the Ministry of Education (2001-2012), through Te Puna Whaiora, to provide educational services rather than operating a separate camp school. The Health Camp was redeveloped into Rotorua Children's Village around 2010-present
