A previous enquiry started by the Board of the Sedgley Family Centre could not locate the records. Some records are stored by the Waiarapa Archives (under the Waiarapa Families Anglican Trust Board). Records include: minutes from 1926-1991, documents including fire policies and leases (1953-1960), miscellaneous items and other parpers (1926-1985), photographs of various boys, the buildings and staff. Photographs of the 1960s liste on catalogue identify boys by name. It was used as a school of farming and any profits from surplus produce went towards the upkeep of the home. Ceased being a residential centre in 1988.
